报告人：Prof. A. Chatt（Dalhousie University, Canada）
Prof. Dr. Chatt‘s research interests include the development of nuclear analytical and speciation methods for the determination of trace and ultra trace elements in a variety of complex sample matrices. Dr. Chatt has published about 240 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and 1 book. He has presented over 325 invited seminars and conference papers, and over150 contributed conference papers (some of which are with his students and associates).
Dr. Chatt is a Fellow of both American Nuclear Society and the Chemical Institute of Canada, and a member of Canadian Nuclear Society. He is the recipient of the 1993 Francis W. Karasek Award for Achievements in Environmental Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Chatt has received the ANS Radiation Science and Technology Award in 1996, and the William D. Ehmann Award in radioanalytical chemistry in 1999. He was the recipient of the “Hevesy Medal Award” in 2001 May for his outstanding and innovative contributions in the field of radioanalytical and nuclear chemistry, in particular for his work on various forms of instrumental, preconcentration and radiochemical activation analysis, and their applications in a wide variety of different medical, environmental and biological research studies”.
